Good Morning, BBQ Chicken (shredded chicken cooked in homemade bbq sauce, cheese, jack cheese, cilantro) and Pepperoni Slices.

Thoughts: This lunchtime delight was from Pi Day (3/14), where the office buys a crapload of pizza pies to celebrate.  Usually, it’s crappy dominos (which is still welcome), but they did it big by going with Spunto’s.  I’ve written about them once already… thumbs up all the way.
The big surprise here was the BBQ chicken slice.  This was fantastic!  Usually, I shy away from BBQ chicken slices cause they replace the sauce with BBQ sauce, which usually OD’s on the sauce, and the final product would be better had on a sandwich.  Not the case here - Spunto’s adds some shredded chicken (sweet and incredibly tasty), to their decent base slice with some jack cheese and BOOM! awesome chicken slice.
Oh, and this being a free meal really did make it taste that much better.

Large Meat Lover’s Pie (Marinara Sauce & Cheese, Pepperoni, Sweet Italian Sausage, and Hot Italian Sausage) and Large Regular Pie

@ Spunto - West Village - New York, NY

Thoughts: This is a thin crust joint.  A really thin crust joint.  A handy formula for this place is: 2 slices of whatever you’re eating = fill you up like 1 normal slice.  I found the regular pie to be uninspiring, but the Meat Lover’s pie… holy crap.  This was really, really good.  The slice held up very well, despite it’s thin stature and the weight of all the delicious, flavorful meat.  If you like thin crust, go to Spunto’s… just be sure to get some toppings on your slice.
